This site is intended to be used to share some original easy-listening music written by K.T. Fung.
The music pieces were written over the years and it was only recently when K.T. Fung had a chance to organize them and, using ever-advancing computer technologies, produce the pieces presented here. The pieces are all generated as piano compositions through the use of music software. Please note that all K.T. Fung's music are copy-righted and should not be used for commercial purposes without the written consent from K.T. Fung.
Some of the following pieces are also available in the MySpace music sharing web-site Myspace-KT Fung-Playlist for easy listening:
Heaven and Earth: This waltz piece is dedicated to the struggle of all living creatures, big and small, in this perpetually contentious universe that's our heaven and earth. This piece is a companion to the fictional novel Return of the Blood Drippers: a Feng Shui Story which is an attempt to underscore the troubling state of our world and fantasizes about efforts to dramatically improve the world's fortunes.
Violin Run: This piece was originally written to be played on a violin and is K.T. Fung's tribute to the beautiful and sometimes haunting sounds of string instruments like the violin, pi-pa, sitar, etc.
Forget Me Not (with lyrics ): Forget me not, In times of laughter and pain, In times of sunshine and rain.
The Songs Arrive Today: This song was inspired by the opening scene and music from the movie The Sound of Music.
This Time of the Day: The song is about a man who has fallen hopelessly in love with a young woman who likes to live a wild life.
Temptation: This song pays tribute to all living creatures' constant struggles with temptations.
My Promise: My promise of faithfulness is for me to keep.
Our Days Will Come: Our days will come when we would resolve all our differences and make this world a place that we all would be proud to live in. But will those days come soon enough?
That Man From Beijing (with lyrics ): The idea came straight from James Bond 007 movies starring Sean Connery and Roger Moore.
Dinea (with lyrics ): A malodramatic crying out for someone from the past, forgotten and yet not forgotten.
The Great Palace Waltz: The motivation of his song came from grand waltz dance scenes in too many old Hollywood movies.
Till I Meet You Once Again (with lyrics): Goodbye, my love, Till I meet you once again. Where the streets are gay, And the palm trees sway, And my love will ever be true, .... This song says goodbye in 3 little steps with the first two steps played out in lyrics and the parting third step played out only in music.

The Sundowners Theme: This song was inspired by a movie K.T. Fung watched and somehow never could get out of his mind, probably because he could, having been a foreign student in North America for a long time, relate a bit to the nomadic life styles of the characters. The Sundowners is an old movie starring Deborah Kerr and Robert Mitchum, highlighting the lives of Australian sheep-herders.
My Butterfly: Is it I who's dreaming to be a butterfly or am I actually just existing in the dream of a butterfly? Just asking.
Ithaca Night: K.T. Fung spent five years in Ithaca, one of the most peaceful and beautiful places in the world, with its deep gorges and natural water holes. But living in Ithaca could also evoke feelings of solitude and, during many Ithaca nights, loneliness.
Azaleas in the Spring: Azaleas were the first flowering bushes K.T. Fung planted in front of his house. They blossom at the first signs of spring with falling raindrops making beautiful music.
Across the Ocean (with lyrics ): A soldier's heart in a harsh, hostile foreign country always longs to come home across the ocean.
The Streets Are Empty: The streets are empty, the lights are low.
A Time to Pretend: To escape times of extreme distress, there are moments when you might want to pretend to be someone else or somewhere else. Reality becomes fantasy that just flutters in the air.
Marianna (with lyrics): Inspired by Christopher Marlowe's poem -- Come live with me and be my love, And we will all the pleasures prove, That valleys, groves, hills, and fields, Woods or steepy mountain yields.
Caterpillar Cha Cha: This song is a tribute to the wiggling movement of capterpillars on their march to become beautiful and graceful butterflies.
These Thousand Hills: This song was inspired by the long-forgotten title song of a very old movie These Thousand Hills starring Don Murray and Lee Remick. K.T. Fung just couldn't get the first measure of the song out of his mind.
Quiet Storm Over Calgary: This song recalls a quiet storm intruding upon the normally beautiful and peaceful city of Calgary in Alberta, Canada.
Coming Home From the Mountains: This song relates the feelings of tranqility and excitement as a shephard heads home after days of hard work in the mountains.

Till I Meet You Once Again
(K.T. Fung)
Goodbye my love
Till I meet you once again
(In this place I long to be)
Where the streets are gay
Where the palm trees sway
And my love will ever be true
Where the days are bright
Where the nights are right
For my heart to grow onto
Goodbye to my loved one
Goodbye to my loved one
And though I am smiling
In my heart I'm crying
To believe that I'll be gone
Goodbye to my loved one
Goodbye to my loved one
And though I am leaving
I shall be returning
To your lovely sands of dawn
Forget Me Not
(K.T. Fung)
Forget me not
Our days together will end
But our lives together as friends
Will just be coming to a start
Forget me not
In times of laughter and pain
In times of sunshine and rain
You'll always keep me in your heart
If I could be the moon
I'd spend my time, to shine on you
If I could be a star
I'd be a-wishing for you
Forget me not
For our time together
Forget me not
Like it's forever
Just close your eyes
You'll see me there, again and again
Forget me not
From the morning sun
Forget me not
Till the day is done
Wherever you might be tonight
Forget me not, my love
If you should feel alone
Just take your hand, and feel my face
If you should be afraid
Just fall back into my warm embrace
Forget me not
In your whole life through
Forget me not
Think that I'm with you
Just close your eyes
You'll see me there, again and again
Forget me not
From the morning sun
Forget me not
Till the day is done
Wherever you might be tonight
Forget me not, my love
That Man From Beijing
(K.T. Fung)
That man from Beijing
With much understanding
Is shaking the world
With his arms and his charms, do the harms
That we humans
Fear in every age
And with his manners
He can always seduce a sage
To do evil
And to stifle
The world
That man from Beijing
Will stunt the world
All try to stop him
But he's not likely your victim
Eluding away
Every gun, every one at every run
And consequently
Once by one, they fell
While here's our victor
With naught emotion, said farewell
And he walked on
But he did still adorn
The wind
That man from Beijing
A restless fiend
Dinea
(K.T. Fung)
Dinea, Dinea
When the morning job is done
When I walk into the sun
I heard you, among the hills
I heard you, among the daffodils
I just keep on
Wondering how you haunt me so
No words can help me see
The way I want to be
That my heart will be filled with the joys of never
And I long to be left in this love forever
I try to work it out
But here I want to shout
Can it be roses in dances
Can it be I'm into my trances
Dinea,
I wonder
How heavens could have
Tangled you and me
Dinea
Dinea
Won't you smile for me
Dinea
Won't you cry for me
No words can explain
What I want to say
And pray to skies above
In tones of love today
That my heart will be filled with the joys of never
And I long to be left in this love forever
I try to work it out
But here I want to shout
Can it be roses in dances
Can it be I'm into my trances
Dinea,
Can't you sue how ungrateful
I have been to you
Across The Ocean
(K.T. Fung)
Across the ocean
The ship keeps sailing
Until she reach the shore
And bring my love afore
To you in time for spring
The children's dying
The mothers' crying
I hear such fateful sighs
And see such hateful eyes
I know I don't belong
The sun is searing
As drones go shearing
Shrapnels come flying
All around the shattered homes
And for the first time
My heart starts to break
And for the first time
My arms start to shake
What can I do
What can I say
It takes a little ship
A little ship at sea
To save my soul and love
From lives so tough and rough
This land that's lost to me
Come Live With Me (And Be My Love)
(K.T. Fung)
Marianna
O Marianna
Come live with me
And be my love
Since when I found you here
I long to hold you near
You’re such a flower to me
As lovely as can be
When every time I see your face
I long to be in’your warm embrace
Marianna come to me
Marianna
Marianna come to me
Marianna
O Marianna
Come live with me
And be my love
I see you in my dream
Wading along the stream
With the sunshine in your hair
And music in the air
And every time I see your face
I long to be in’your warm embrace
Marianna come to me
Marianna
How I long to be with you
Again
